Why Soy Wax?
Did you know that most candles found on the market actually emit harmful fumes into your home risking the health of you and your loved ones.
With soy wax, there are no fumes only the gentle aroma produced by our fragrances.
In addition the burn time of an average sized candle is 25-30 hours. With Soy wax candles ours burn for around 35-40 hours.
Whats's the difference between our glasses?
With our Classic range you will have a clear 'bulbed' bottom candle around 200 ml and 9cm tall. These will burn as mentioned above for around 35-40 hours.
Our Eco range are locally sourced beer glasses that we have personally cut and polished. Due to their size these generally come in 300 ml or 10cm tall. From these you will have a burn time of 45-50 hours and as well as doing your part in the environment you will in turn enhance your own environment with colours of brown and green glass.

Are our candles safe?

As previously mentioned as our range of candles are blended using soy wax there are no harmful fumes to be concerned about. However it should still be noted that basic safety measures should be adhered to when using any candles.
Why buy local?
Why should you buy local products as opposed to cheaper foreign products? The answer to accountability. With Vvi Scents you know exactly who made our candles and where. There are no call centres or anonymous CEOs hiding behind corporate logos. We are who we are and our candles are made to the same high standard we expect to use in our own homes.

Why Norfolk?
An excellent question. And we can respond with an excellent answer. Norfolk is Vivi Scents home county. The same home of Lord Nelson, Edith Cavell, and Stephen Fry who quite rightly once said the city of Norwich is a city none finer. surrounded by the broads and the wide skied beaches that influenced Vaughn Williams and Sir Conan Arthur Doyle. With such heritage we believe we are keeping with these with our bespoke range of candles.
Why do we not use strong fragrances?
As mentioned our candles are made to enjoy and enhance your home as it would our own home. There are plenty of flamboyant aromas out there that always sound fun to have. However, it is often the case that this are used once or twice and after overpowering your home with such scents as "strawberry bubblegum" it quickly becomes apparent that this is not for you. We wholeheartedly agree and as such our range of gently hand blended to lift your ,house to a home from our Mango Tea to our Earl Grey & Cucumber you will not be disappointed.
